TRENDS WE FOLLOW WITHOUT ASKING 'WHY'

It pains me to see some things I do that are baseless , things that I do because I woke up to see things done that way, or because it has been that way before I was given birth to . Things like brushing , (with all the stress of carrying the brush ,buying the toothpaste with hard earn money and now brushing the entire set of teeth),ironing ,( rumpled shirt isn't a sin afterall ),schooling,(what's with the stress of going through all the system ,from kindergarten to university and paying for all the school systems),wearing of shoes,(why can't we all walk barefooted all around , than all the energy that wearing of shoe consumes) male wearing trousers and ladies wearing skirt ,( why not long gown ehn, for both,at least would have ruled out immoral dressing , am sure) , to mention but a few . Please who invented all of those ? Of course, these things are still logical and very important .we can always give reasons why we need to do them, the way they do it , just like we met them on earth . its like asking why we see,or why we walk or probably why we talk and the answers would have been because we are created with eyes ,with legs and with mouth ,so we simply do all those things because we met them created for our use. 
Sampled opinions  about this issue with my friends and about what they think , was surprised they had questions too . The most annoying of all, are the trends we follow that are baseless ,unwarranted and without reasons for example , fashion trends, I mean why can't I wear what I please to wear, must I follow a pattern , why must I wear casual maxi dress, slip dress from designers like Chanel ,Gucci , DG and wear them on designer shoes or heels from Isabel Marant, Christian Louboutin ,Givenchy ,Prada ,before i become fashionable? I don't think wearing the latest designer clothes makes me or you more fashionable but the way you comport yourself with whatsoever cloth you choose to wear should be commended and not looked down upon . Social media trends too , they have really grown in such a way that people now press their phones in gatherings rather than pay rapt attention to the events they came for . Isn't it sad that more attention is given to gadget than human ? Or must we have a BBM pin, Facebook ID before we can communicate with friends or must I have Instagram account, twitter handle, before I become sociable and friendly? We should be able to make friends without the help of social media , meet them up , share ideas together unlike the friends we have not seen before. 
               Please ,people should just spare me about this, not that I am not fashionable or not social but I refuse to do what the common people do , I refuse to do things out of bases or reasons . I am unique and wonderfully made , and so ,if I do things out of the normal,it's my choice and shouldn't be rebuked for it ,as far as it's not doing any harm to anyone. it's good to look appealing and beautiful too. People come close to you, to know who you really are and your personality ,just with the way you appear . They call it 'modern world' and that's what our world is turning into . Am challenging someone today , dare to be different and unique as long as it shows what you are. Yeah, I know we probably can't do without some of these things. We grew up been brainwashed by our environment to follow trends (some important, and others meaningless). While we still contend with new trends, new ones keep popping up. Before I begin to sound like an anti social dirty old troll, I 'll just like to say "Don't follow a trend because its popular, but because its important and beneficial"
